Information the app handles
The app may process barcode values scanned from product labels, your shop identifier, cart or terminal identifier, scan time, barcode format, product lookup results, and basic technical request information needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
Camera permission
The app requests camera permission so it can scan product barcodes. Camera access is used for barcode scanning only. The app does not need camera access to collect photos, videos, or personal images for marketing.
How scans work
When you scan a product, the app sends the barcode and shop details to the Zyrosale server. The server checks whether the shop is active, finds the matching product, and queues the product for the selected POS cart when the scan is accepted.
Information we do not collect through the app
- We do not sell your mobile app data.
- We do not use the scanner app to collect payment card numbers.
- We do not use the scanner app to collect your precise location.
- We do not intentionally collect photos, videos, contacts, or messages from your device.
How we use app information
We use app information to provide barcode scanning, product lookup, POS cart queueing, account and shop validation, troubleshooting, security monitoring, abuse prevention, service improvement, and customer support.
Sharing and service providers
We may share limited technical and operational information with trusted service providers when necessary for hosting, security, maintenance, support, analytics, or legal compliance. We do not sell shop, scan, or product data.
Security
Zyrosale uses protected server access for scanner requests and validates shop access before product scans are accepted. Users should protect app access, shop identifiers, staff devices, and any credentials connected to the POS system.
Data retention
Scan and product lookup records may be kept as long as needed to operate the POS workflow, maintain security logs, troubleshoot support requests, and satisfy business or legal requirements. Retention periods may vary depending on account status and operational needs.
Your choices
You can deny camera permission, but barcode scanning will not work without it. You may uninstall the app at any time. Shop owners or authorized users may contact us to request correction or deletion of app-related account information, subject to required transaction, audit, and legal records.
Children's privacy
The Zyrosale Product Scanner app is intended for business use by shop owners, employees, and authorized POS users. It is not intended for children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, POS service, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
